NY Islanders send Kirill Kabanov to QMJHL

NY Islanders assigned their Russian forward Kirill Kabanov to the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, according to the club’s official website. Thus, Kabanov will start the upcoming season at Blainville-Boisbriand Armada.

Last season Kabanov also played for various QMJHL clubs, scoring 28 (11 +17) points in 39 games.
