Guus Hiddink: Eto’o has dropped the excess weight

Anzhi Makhachkala boss Guus Hiddink commented on the incident involving a banana being thrown at Chris Samba during the Lokomotiv match and responded to the criticism of Samuel Eto’o, who has been accused of having some excess weight.

«I wasn’t far from that incident and saw everything. I don’t really know what to say, except that only a fool could do something like that, most likely a man. I don’t it was a woman – they don’t generally behave like that.»

«Does it seem to you that Eto’o might have picked up a few extra kilos?»

«Not anymore. We tested the whole team recently and everyone’s weight is fine, including the Cameroonian,» the Dutchman told Sovetsky sport.
