Petri Vehanen to stay at Ak Bars next season

Finnish veteran goaltender Petri Vehanen announced he will remain at his current club Ak Bars Kazan for the next season, Kazanweek.ru informs.

The decision was apparently motivated by the recent departure of head coach Vladimir Krikunov.

The 34-year-old Finn lead his team 16 wins in 42 season games, letting in 2.35 goals a game with 91,6% save ratio.
