Pavel Pogrebnyak: Fulham in Europe? Let’s not make any hasty remarks

Fulham’s new goal-scoring sensation Pavel Pogrebnyak commented on his club’s ambitions for the remaining part of the Premier League season.

Pogrebnyak astounded fans and journalists alike by netting five goals in his three opening matches for Fulham, thus establishing a historic record for the club.

«I am getting more confident with every game, I am getting used to the new surroundings. But I wouldn’t make any profound conclusions yet – there are a lot of big games ahead. I am satisfied with how things are going now, though and so are the team and our coach,» said the big Russian.

«It would be great to get into Europe, but we are some points behind the leading sides. We are just focussing on each game individually and try to refrain from making hasty remarks,» the former Stuttgart striker told Sport-Express.
