Danny asks Russian public to donate for treatment of Carlos Martins’s son

After Friday’s game against Anzhi (0:0), Zenit forward Miguel Danny made an appeal to the Russian public.

«An extremely big trouble happened. The son of my friend and Portugal teammate Carlos Martins is diagnosed with a severe disease. The boy is three years old, and he urgently needs a bone marrow transplantation surgery.

«I know there are several donor centers in Russia, in particular, in Samara and St. Petersburg. Therefore, I would like to ask everyone who can do that to donate blood and see if you can become a bone marrow donor. Thus you will not only help my friend’s son, but also to all those who have this disease. Thank you all ahead of time,» Danny said to Sport-Express.
