Rostov general director: We talked with Stoichkov about Cruyff’s arrival for lectures

Rostov general director Yury Belous has told that the collaboration the Hristo Stoichkov will go on, however, the Bulgarian will not be offered a regular job at the club.

«Can you confirm that the second meeting with Hristo Stoichkov will take place?»

«The second one will take place, as well as the third, the fourth, and the fifth. We also meet many other people interested in the Russian football and the Rostov region in particular.»

«When will the meeting with Hristo take place?»

«It is hard to tell, it all depends on when he will have time, when I will have time, how interesting it is for him. But I should mention that Stoichkov is a man with whom it’s very interesting to talk about football, very broad-minded about sports. We have thought up some joint projects which may be implemented in the future.»

«What position does Stoichkov apply for?»

«None. We did not discuss any position with him. We spoke about football, about development, about his view on the club. Today we have a head coach, he has a complete carte blanche. But we keep in touch with different people, and I don’t understand why the meeting with Stoichkov has caused such a sensation. It’s not about him getting a permanent job at Rostov.»

«Is it true that you want Johan Cruyff to come to Rostov and hold some seminars for the club?»

«Yes, it’s true. That was one of the questions we have beeb discussing with Stoichkov,» stated Belous to Sovetsky Sport.
