Povetkin: Huck is an unpleasant guy, I just wanted to tear him apart

Russian WBA heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin spoke about his impressions of the championship title fight between himself and German Marco Huck.

«It was a useful experience for me, and it is good that the [the fight was hard] – it is a sign for me that I need to improve, need to learn new things. You saw Huck – he is an unpleasant guy, to say the least, I just wanted to tear him to pieces. These things can jeopardise your chances of winning, so you have control your emotions– just come out and box.»

British boxer Derek Chisora, who was recently defeated by World Heavyweight champion Vitaly Klitchko, was also present at the battle in Stuttgart. There are some speculations that the Brit may be the next in line to challenge Povetkin.
