Corinthians football director: We want to buy Alex, but €7 million is too much

Football director of Corinthians Roberto de Andrade has confirmed the information that the Brazilian club is planning to transfer Spartak Moscow midfielder Alex Meschini, but insisted the club won’t spend too much money on the transfer.

«Our club is really interested in Alex, but we won’t do any crazy things to bring him in. Those €7 million Spartak are demanding for him are absurd. If the Russian club doesn’t cut the price for Alex, the negations will be terminated», said de Andrade according to Terceiro Tempo.

«This week we will definitely approach the management of Spartak and we will find out if they plan to let him go. If not, there is no use to hold the negotiations.»
