Alexander Samedov: Kokorin scored an amazing goal, as good as Messi’s

Dynamo Moscow midfielder Alexander Samedov commented on his team’s 2-0 victory over Lokomotiv Moscow and complemented his teammate Alexander Kokorin on his goal.

«Kokorin lacked something in the past, perhaps it was luck. But today he scored a special goal. He chipped the goalie just like Messi! I am happy for him.»

«Where did you get the strength to run the distance in the last few minutes, when you earned the penalty?»

«I don’t really know. I just ran and thought: «Come on, someone, bring me down!» Thank god I got knocked down – I haven’t been this pleased to feel pain before!»

«How do you feel captaining the side?»

«I got so used to it by now, that I wouldn’t want to give up the captain’s armband!» the Russian international told Sport-Express.
