Yevgeny Giner: CSKA and Real Madrid have an even chance of making the quarter-finals
CSKA Moscow president Yevgeny Giner in an interview to Bobsoccer.ru gave his prediction for his club’s UEFA Champions League clash with Real Madrid.
«Both teams have a 50/50 chance of progressing to the next round. After the first leg in Moscow [the clubs drew 1-1 – Sports.ru], both clubs need to score. I am not including a goalless draw – the Galacticos just wouldn’t play that way,» Giner stated.
«I recently watched their match against Rayo Valecano, which Madrid won 1-0, and I saw how hard to get those three points were. It’s football, so anything can happen. We will give it a go at the Bernabeo,» the Red Army boss added.
