Kuban Krasnodar hold talks on Adrian Mutu transfer

Vice-governor of Krasnodar Krai Ivan Peronko has revealed that local side Kuban intend to bring in Romanian forward Adriana Mutu from Fiorentina.

«Kuban has certain problems with some players whose loan period is coming to an end. But with other players we have already reached agreement and we will strengthen, first of all, our attack and midfield. We have already come to terms with a midfielder and a forward,» Peronko said according to Rusfootball.info.

Being asked about the reportedly possible transfer of Adrian Mutu, Peronko added: «I should admit that the negotiations are being held. Kuban needs strengthening, as the league’s leaders have understood [that we are an ambitious team – Sports.ru] and treat every opponent seriously».
