Final decision on ‘Nikezić case’ to be made on April 18

The member of the Ethics Committe of the Russian Football Union Anzor Kavazashvili revealed that the Committee’s final meeting concerning the ‘Nikezić case’ is scheduled for April 18. A month ago Nikola Nikezić, former player of Kuban Krasnodar, accused the club’s officials of coercing him into the termination of his contract.

«Final decision will be made on April 18. By then we will have the results of the investigation held by local police authorities. It’s all going to be very serious.

The issue is more of a criminal and financial nature, rather than ethical one. We’ll be also able to add our ethical verdict, when the documents become available. In the end, there will be either a penalty for Kuban as a whole, or for the current management of the club. Or, maybe, we’ll have to admit that Nikezić has faked the whole situation», Kavazashvili told to Sport-Express.
