Dmitry Bulykin: I have a number of offers, including some from Russia
Ajax Amsterdam striker Dmiry Bulykin commented on the statement made by coach Frank De Boer that the Dutch club would begin his contract extension talks in May.
«It’s logical and predictable. The original deal has a one-year extension clause, which gives both sides a choice. That means I can negotiate with other clubs, but in May we will discuss my future with Ajax.»
«What are your own plans?»
«I will consider my options at the end of the season. Ajax is a top club, but I am concerned about not playing more regular football. If I was 22, I’d not think twice about staying. But I am 32 and I want to be in the first team.»
«Have you received any offers yet?»
«Several of them, including ones from Russia. Am I ready to return? At the moment I like playing on these perfect pitches, in excellent stadiums, enjoying my game and my life here,» said the former Lokomotiv and Dynamo forward, speaking to Sovetsky sport.
