Zenit and Juventus close to agreement on Bruno Alves for Bonucci swap

The negotiations between Zenit St. Petersburg and Juventus on the exchange of their fullbacks Bruno Alves and Leonardo Bonucci, respectively, are close to the completion, Il Corriere dello Sport reported.

According to the publication, Juventus head coach Antonio Conte is content with the idea of the swap, as he intends to reinforce the defense of his team.

However, Bruno Alves had earlier announced his eventual transfer to Juventus to be nothing more than a rumor.
