Volga players to boycott training due to salary delays

The players of the Russian Premier League club Volga Nizhny Novgorod intend to miss the club’s training session on Tuesday.

The team is disappointed with the delays in salary payments, as the club owes them their wages since July, according to RIA Novosti.

Volga midfielder, ex-Barcelona player Mark Crosas reinforced the ultimatum in his Twitter. «The team decided that from tomorrow on we won’t train until we get the money. We haven’t been paid for five months,» Crosas wrote.

At the moment Volga are 14th in the Premier League with 25 points.
