Korea Strongly Hopes to Host the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2017

13 ноября президент Корейской футбольной ассоциации Чон Мон Гю вылетит в Цюрих для встречи с президентом ФИФА Блаттером. Южная Корея намерена стать хозяйкой юношеского ЧМ по футболу FIFA U-20 World Cup 2017, и г-н Чон Мон Гю доставит в штаб-квартиру ФИФА необходимые документы. 5 декабря в Бразилии решится судьба ЧМ. 

Mong Gyu CHUNG will pay a visit to FIFA President Joseph S. Blatter to Submit the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2017 Bid Book, says KFA press-release distributed on November 13th.

Mr. Mong Gyu CHUNG, President of Korea Football Association will depart Incheon International Airport on Wednesday, 13th of November to Zurich, Switzerland where the Home of Football FIFA is located.

Mong Gyu CHUNG, President of Korea Football Association, will pay a visit to FIFA President Joseph S. Blatter on the 14th November at 17:30 hrs (Korean local time) to deliver the Bid Book and the Hosting Agreement, and explain why Korea deserves to host the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2017.

Korea Football Association has submitted in due course the Declaration of Interest and the Terms of Conditions in May and July this year respectively as per FIFA’s instructions.

As par of local procedures, KFA has gained the approval of the International Committee of the Korean Olympic Committee in July and finally the approval of the Judging Committee for the International Sports Competitions of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in October.

The decision for the Host of the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2017 will be teken by the FIFA Executive Committee during its official meeting on 5th December 2013 at Salvador de Bahia, Brazil.
