Anastasia Myskina will be Svetlana Kuznetsova’s coach

Russian tennis player Svetlana Kuznetsova, who had beaten Irina-Camelia Begu in the second round of Roland Garros (6:1, 6:1), has told that Anastasia Myskina will soon join her coaching staff.

«Anastasia should arrive to Paris tomorrow. The idea belongs to Larisa Savchenko, but I have supported this option wholeheartedly. Nastya’s help can be very important, especially considering that Larisa cannot go to tournaments with me all the time.»

«There is also one more thing: sometimes it’s difficult for the player and the coach to achieve mutual understanding, even if they have a very good relationship. In this kind of situation you need a third person, able to bring the different points of view to a common denominator. Nastya is the best candidate for this role, because she is a very good friend both for me and Larisa,» Kuznetsova stated to Sport-Express.
