Lamborghini To Build Racing Track in Incheon

Известный производитель скоростных автомобилей Ламборгини совместно с английской инвестиционной компанией Вейнгроу Партнерз, инженерной фирмой и английской командой Формула-1 Уильямс построят скоростную трассу длиной в 5 км в пригороде Инчхона. На острове Йончжон неподалеку от международного аэропорта Инчхон будет создан первый в мире клуб эксклюзивного образа жизни и автогонок, в котором самые искушенные гости смогут развлечься и посвятить себя любимому хобби.
Вокруг трассы будет сооружено всё необходимое, чтобы превратить её в настоящий автоклуб, где можно с пользой и удовольствием провести время. Это будет настоящий лакшери оазис на Западном побережье Кореи. Он существенно дополнит уже имеющиеся гоночные комплексы - трэк Формулы 1 в Йонаме, где проводился Гран-при Кореи, новейший Инчже Спидиум в провинции Канвондо (азиатская серия Ле Ман, Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo-2013), трассу в Ансане и другие. Помимо гоночной трассы в Инчхоне будет сооружен 7-звездочный отель с 220 номерами, шикарными ресторанами и барами, конференц-залами, а также тренировочный центр для начинающих гонщиков.
Членом элитного клуба будет стать непросто - поначалу туда будут приглашать только самых успешных и состоятельных из числа владельцев суперкаров. В регионе Северо-Восточной Азии их количество составляет 73 тыс. чел., и они являются потенциальными клиентами нового клуба. Зато им будет предоставлена возможность прокатиться с ветерком на самых последних моделях болидов Формулы 1, поставленных командой Уильямс, а также спортивных автомобилях Ламборгини.
Скоростная трасса рассчитана на молодых, богатых и рискованных, и создатели проекта считают, что новый автоклуб будет пользоваться успехом. Ожидается, что строительство трассы будет завершено к 2016 году.

London-based investment firm Weingrow Partners said Tuesday that it will build the “world’s first exclusive lifestyle and racing club” on Yeongjong Island off Incheon, close to Incheon International Airport, in collaboration with Italy’s supercar maker Automobili Lamborghini and England’s Formula One team and engineering firm Williams. It aims at completing the facilities by 2016.“Korea is right in the middle of the supercar market in North East Asia. The proximity to the market in the region is the main reason we chose Korea for the location of this project,” Akis Stark, managing director from Weingrow Partners, said during a news conference at the Westin Chosun Seoul...
But not everyone would be welcomed to use the facility, as it is only available for “selected” customers. “We will be selecting our potential customers. At this stage, we will not openly market it. We will invite customers and review whether they are suitable to become members. There will be quite strict criteria,” he said. Stark said there are about 73,000 supercar owners in North East Asia, who are potential customers, and they are within a four-hour flight from Incheon.
The basic concept is that members will have an opportunity to race the latest F1 and other road and racing cars provided by Weingrow’s strategic partners ― Williams and Lamborghini. Members can also enjoy other luxury leisure activities, handled by other partners. For the project, Weingrow will construct a five-kilometer FIA Grande 1 racetrack, a seven-star hotel with 220 rooms, restaurants and bars, conference facilities and driving training center, wrote Korea TImes.
