Pittsburg Penguins’ Malkin denies rumours of return to the KHL

Russian forward Yevgeny Malkin has denied speculations linking him with a move to the KHL side SKA St. Petersburg.

The reports appeared as a result of a SKA forum board post by a user named Malkin 71, who hinted he was hoping for a NHL lockout, so that he could sign for the Saint-Petersburg club.

«Is it true that you are hoping to sign for SKA?» a Sovetsky sport reporter asked the Russian hockey star.

«All I can say is that I have a contract with the Penguins and I don’t post n forums. I only use Twitter – for the news and to chat with friends,» Malkin claimed.
