Lokomotiv Yaroslavl are in talks with Jan Marek

According to the information that became available to Sports.ru, Czech national team forward Jan Marek may soon sign for Lokomotiv Yaroslavl.

In the past season the forward played for CSKA Moscow and Atlant Mystishchi in the Kontinental Hockey League. In the Army club Marek has played 46 matches and scored 38 (14+24) points. For the Moscow Region team he has played five matches in the regular championship, netting in two goals, while in the play-offs he took part in 20 games and scored 17 (7+10) points.

Currently, Marek is taking part in the 2011 World Championship with the Czech Republic national team. He has earned one assist in six matches of the tournament.

In addition to that, after the game against Russia Marek almost had a fight with a Russian journalist whom he accused of forging his previous interview.
