Reports: Bykov in line to replace Riha as coach of SKA

SKA St. Petersburg have shortlisted former Russia national team coach Vyacheslav Bykov as a possible candidate to replace Milos Riha as head coach of the Saint-Petersburg club, reports in the Russian press indicate.

According to Sport-Express, the former CSKA and Russia boss will take over SKA despite their second-place finish in the regular KHL season.

Speculations suggest that the Czech coach’s days in Saint-Petersburg are numbered after their embarrassing 4-0 series defeat to OHK Dynamo in the Gagarin Cup semi-final.

Current Russia coach Zinetula Bilyaletdinov is another possible candidate for the role, the newspaper claims.
