Star of the Night Bryzgalov helps Flyers shut down Washington Capitals

Philadelphia Flyers Russian goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov was the difference in his side’s 1-0 shut out victory against Washington Capitals.

The Russian goalie was voted the Star of the Night after his incredible 34 saves helped the team keep a clean sheet and earn the vital victory.

Chicago’s Patrick Sharp was voted Second Star of the Night after earning 2 (1+1) points in the 2-1 win against Detroit Redwings, while Islanders’ goaltender Anders Nilsson came third, thanks to his 24 blocked shots against NJ Devils.
