Bergfors: Shipachyov is as talented as many in the NHL

Former New Jersey Devils player Niclas Bergfors believes Severstal’s Russian forward Vadim Shipachyov can be as good as top NHL players.

«I don’t know him very well personally, as we haven’t played together long, but he is incredibly talented. Is he ready for the NHL? He has as much talent, if not more, as many of the NHL guys, but it is hard to say if he is ready for the type of hockey they play in America. NHL has a totally different playing style,» said Shipachyov’s partner at Severstal in an interview for RIA Novosti.
