Stehlik signs for Atlant Mytishchi

Slovakia defenceman Richard Stehlik, who terminated his contract with Salavat Yulaev Ufa in December, has completed his move to Atlant Moscow Oblast, the club’s official website reports.

«I had offers from Europe, Sweden, and Finland in particular, but I had started the season in the KHL and didn’t want to leave. I like it here. I like the playing style. There are many masterful players here and the tempo is quite high,» Stehlik said as quoted by Sovetsky sport.

This season Stehlik has made 24 appearances for Salavat Yulaev and tallied 5 (4+1) points.
