Sergey Brylin signs $1.5m contract with Metallurg Novokuznetsk
Former SKA St. Petersburg forward Sergey Brylin signed a contract with the KHL’s Metallurg Novokuznetsk, the latter club’s official site reported.
According to Sport-Express, Brylin will earn $1.5 million dollars next season. At his new club, the three-times Stanley Cup winner will wear a number 18 jersey.
During the 2010-11 season the 37-year-old forward scored 12 (7+5) points in 49 regular matches and 6 (1+5) points in 11 play-off matches. During his NHL career Brylin took part in 765 matches for the New Jersey Devils, scoring 308 (129+179) points.
