Vladimir Antipov leaves Salavat Yulaev for financial reasons

Salavat Yulaev forward Vladimir Antipov followed Norwegian forward Patrick Thoresen and left the Ufa club.

«Antipov left because we could not satisfy his financial demands. We are very grateful to him and Thoresen, as they have done a lot for the club», said chairman of the board of Salavat Yulaev Nikolay Kurapov according to Komsomolskaya Pravda Ufa.

Yesterday it became known that the Ural charity foundation, which provided Salavat Yulaev with 2 billion rubles (€50 million) last season, stopped funding the club.
