Roberto Carlos: Anzhi are not ready for Europe yet

Anzhi team director Roberto Carlos in an interview to Sovetsky sport admitted that the Makhachkala club is not quite ready for European action yet.

«At the moment Anzhi are not ready to play in European competitions. We have 10 matches to go and we can get some experience in those games. Once we get into Europe, we will not suddenly become the favourites. We need to take things slowly.

With 56 points Anzhi currently sit in the 7th place of the Russian Premier League.
