Welliton responds to Solskjaer: Perhaps he should be coaching a ladies team

Spartak Moscow Brazilian striker Welliton responded to accusations by Ole Gunnar Soslkjaer that the Russian team played «dirty football» in the friendly against Molde FK.

«First of all, we are very happy to beat the Norwegian champions. After two draws we wanted to get a result there. What do I think about their head coach’s words? If he is a reasonable man, then he will watch the replay and realise that he is wrong. Otherwise he might want to consider coaching a women’s team,» the Brazilian told Bobsoccer.ru.

«What were your manager’s instructions to the team before the friendly?»

«He told us to be aggressive, but that is not the same as harsh. We pressed them up the field, tried to break their attacking momentum. I reckon we succeeded and need to keep going in the same direction now.»
