Seydou Doumbia: My worst problem in Russia is winter

CSKA Moscow forward Seydou Doumbia has related about his adaptation and unexpectedly quick success in Russia.

«To be honest, I wasn’t ready for such rapid progress. I know my strengths, and I was going to Russia with an intention to use them for the good of the club. As for my adaptation period, it was really short. I didn’t expect that.»

«My worst problem is Russian winter. Last December or January it was so cold that after a training session I burst into tears from pain right in the locker room! I was numb with cold. Apart from football this was the most difficult for me in the adaptation process. In Cote d’Ivoire we’re freezing already at plus 25,» the forward said as quoted by Sport-Express.
