Luciano Spalletti: Zenit doesn’t need Arshavin today

Zenit St. Petersburg head coach Luciano Spalletti said his club is not interested in the return of its former forward Andrey Arshavin right now.

«I think it’s too early to talk about it. Arshavin is a very good player. If we need a player with such qualities, we will try to sign him, but only if we really have a need. Right now we don’t have it,» Spalletti said according to Zenit’s official website.

This season, Arshavin made 15 appearances for Arsenal scoring only two goals.
