Jose Couceiro: Football in Portugal is better organized than in Russia

Lokomotiv Moscow head coach Jose Couceiro shared his opinion on the Russian league with the Portuguese media.

«Maybe, I don’t know the life in Russia very well yet, but it seems to me that the organization of the Portuguese football club is superior. However, there is no doubt that Russia will reach that level. Russian football has a great future.

«If Russia had no foreign players’ limit, local teams would become stronger. But the limit does exist, and we need to take that into account.»

«Life in Russia isn’t very different from life in Portugal. The only thing is that we always have to spend too much time on the flights, it’s tedious. And there are some crazy traffic jams here. The rest was quite familiar for me and I didn’t have to get used to it», Couceiro said in his interview with Record.
