NY Islanders may invite Yashin to training camp

The New York Islanders’ directors do not rule out the possibility that forward Alexei Yashin will be invited to their training camp for trials. According to the club’s owner Charles Wang and general manager Garth Snow, they have been discussing such an option, Sport-Express reported.

Yashin, who now has the status of unrestricted free agent, has been training currently at the Islanders’ skating rink with the others players of the team for a long time already.
