Semyon Varlamov signs two-year contract with Colorado Avalanche

The Colorado Avalanche goaltender Semyon Varlamov has signed a two-year contract with his new club worth $5.5 million, according to the Denver Post.

As Sports.ru already reported, yesterday the Russian was traded to the Avalanche from the Washington Capitals.

It’s worth noting that Varlamov was also a target for KHL club SKA St. Petersburg who condended for the KHL rights to Varlamov with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl. Sports.ru also reported that SKA have already reached an agreement with the goaltender on his future contract.
