Agent: CSKA rejected a Napoli offer for Doumbia without asking about the fee

Alessandro Beltrami, the agent of CSKA forward Seydou Doumbia, admitted Italian side Napoli tried to sign his client last summer, but CSKA did not even consider their offer.

“Last summer Napoli came in for Doumbia, but CSKA rejected the offer before the Italians even gave their price. They didn’t need to sell the player as they are awash with money anyway,” the player’s representative told Sky Sport 24.

The Ivorian international scored 32 goals in 44 matches this season and is leading the top scorers chart in the RPL.
