Yevgeny Giner: Akinfeev will return within the next couple of weeks

CSKA Moscow president Yevgeny Giner stated that their Number 1 Igor Akinfeev, who has been recovering from a knee injury for the past six months, will return to the pitch in the next couple of weeks.

«On Monday Igor will undergo another medical test and after that he will be available for selection,» Giner told Russian TV channel NTV+.

The Russia international goalie was injured after a collision with Spartak striker Welliton during the Moscow derby last year.
