Zenit to receive $19 million from Gazprom in sponsorship deal

Russian oil giant Gazprom Neft and Zenit St. Petersburg have agreed a sponsorship deal which will see the Russian champions receive up to 20 million dollars over the next year.

According to RIA Novosti sources, the Russian club’s deal with the state company will last until 31 December 2012.

Zenit president Alexander Dyukov is also the head of Gazprom Neft, the affiliate of Zenit’s main shareholder Gazprom, which owns a 95.68% stake at the club.
