Europa League: Roy Carrol admits coach’s help in saving Rubin penalty

Olympiacos Northern Irish goalkeeper Roy Carrol admitted he followed the coach’s advise to block Bibras Natkho’s penalty in the Greek side’s away win against Rubin Kazan in the Europa League.

«I knew he would pick the left corner, our coach told me. I took the risk and jumped before the shot, but it paid off,» the former Manchester United keeper told Sovetsky sport.
