Carlos Tevez turns down Zenit transfer offer

Sports.ru learnt that the out-of-favour Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez recently rejected an offer to move to St. Petersburg.

The 28-year-old Argentine had an option of signing a permanent deal with Russia champions Zenit, or he could have gone to St. Petersburg on loan, but the player was not interested.

In September Tevez was dropped from manager Roberto Mancini for allegedly refusing to come on the pitch in a Champions League game against Bayern Munich. Mancini then stated that the striker would never play for City again.
