Dynamo’s Noboa can become Russian citizen in March

Ecuadorian midfielder Cristian Noboa, who recently swapped Rubin Kazan for Dynamo Moscow, may get the Russian citizenship as soon as next spring.

It is expected that the final details of the process, which will allow the 26-year-old to avoid the restriction on foreign players, will be formalised by March.

A Russian citizenship will exclude Noboa from the foreign players list up until summer 2013, when new regulations come into force.
