Diniyar Bilyaletdinov: I’d like to play in Europe
Everton midfielder Diniyar Bilyaletdinov spoke about his decision to move away from the club.
«I asked one of the agencies to work out the transfer options for me back in the summer already, though I didn’t know then what to expect at Everton. I was banned for the first two games of the season, and it wasn’t surprising that the starting lineup was being prepared without me. But in September it became clear I would have problems with first team football even if it wasn’t for my suspension.»
«Which teams in Russia appeal to you in terms of their objectives and ambitions?»
«I wouldn’t want to offend anyone, so I will answer this way: the top eight teams. But honestly, I would like to play in Europe. If I could go back to 2009 and make my decision once again – to go to Everton or stay in Russia – I would have left anyway. I like it here. In terms of the game’s organization and the attitude to it Russia is still far behind the European countries,» Bilyaletdinov said in an interview with Sovetsky sport.
It’s worth noting that according to information that became available to Sports.ru, Dynamo Moscow are interested in signing Bilyaletdinov.
