19-year-old Gremio midfielder refuses transfer to CSKA

19-year-old Gremio and Brazil youth midfielder Lucas Fernando rejected an offer to join CSKA Moscow.

The Russian club had made an offer, but the player said he felt comfortable in Brazil. «I am very happy here. I have a contract until 2016, and I want to play here until it expires», the player said as quoted by Globo.

This season Lucas Fernando took part in 10 games. In total he was fielded 36 times for Gremio scoring 1 goal. He also played 15 games for Brazil youth team. Lucas Fernando is a 2011 world champion (U-20) and the champion of South America of 2011 (U-20) and of 2009 (U-17).
