CSKA Moscow striker Vagner Love said he regretted the foul he committed on the Montenegrin defender Miodrag Djudovic during the recent Russian Premier League game against Spartak Nalchik (4:0). The Brazilian was sent off for that in the second half.
«I am very sorry it happened. When I has reaching for the ball, I had no intention to injure him. I wanted to play the ball as usual and just went for in until the end. Unfortunately, it happened that I hit the opponent’s leg.
«I want to say things like that never happened to me before. I’ve never been a dirty player, it’s the first time in my career that I was sent off for foul play.»
