Rubin Kazan keen on Inter’s Diego Milito and Schalke’s Klaas-Jan Huntelaar

Rubin Kazan are interested in signing Inter Milan forward Diego Milito and Schalke forward Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Rubin have been approaching Milito, but no details of the possible transaction have been revealed yet. Galatasaray are also thought to be chasing the Agrentinean.

Milito’s contract with Inter will be effective until 2014. However, head coach of the Italian club Gian Piero Gasperini is reluctant to let him go.

Meanwhile, according to Kicker, Rubin also want to sign the Dutch forward of Schalke-04 Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

The Kazan club has already made Schalke an offer and is ready to pay some €14 million for the transfer.

«Rubin really did approach us. They want to see Huntelaar in their squad. I assume they’ve already had a conversation with Klaas-Jan’s agent.

«However, as far as I know, Huntelaar doesn’t want to leave. He will stay at Schalke-04», stated the club’s sports director Horst Heldt as quoted by Sport Bild.
