Samuel Eto’O turns down €80m offer from Anzhi

Inter Milan forward Samuel Eto’o has confirmed he had turned down an offer from Anzhi Makhachkala worth €80 million, but may still move to Manchester City.

«I turned it down because the Russians aren’t playing in the Champions League and my objective is to win that trophy again,» said Eto’O as quoted by Football Italia.

However, that doesn’t rule out the Cameroonian’s transfer to Manchester City, who have been expressing their interest in Eto’O.
