Gazzetta dello Sport: Anzhi may offer €50m for Samuel Eto’O

According to the Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, Anzhi Makhachkala are ready to offer Inter Milan some €50 million for their star forward Samuel Eto’O.

The negotiations should begin this weekend. The representatives of the Russian club arrived to Milan the day before in order to meet Inter’s directors and the Cameroonian’s agent Claudio Vigorelli.

Sky Sport 24 also reports that Anzhi are ready to provide Eto’O a salary of €20 million per year, which will make him the most highly paid football player in the world.

It’s worth noting that Eto’O has earlier declared his desire to stay at Inter despite any lucrative offers from Russia.
