Spartak Moscow confirm future transfer of Emenike from Fenerbahce
Spartak Moscow and Turkey’s powerhouse Fenerbahce have reached an agreement on the transfer of the 24-year-old forward Emmanuel Emenike, the official website of the Russian club reported.
In case the Nigerian successfully passes medical examination, a personal contract will be signed with him. This will most likely occur after August 9, when Emenike returns from Nigerian national team who are going to play a friendly match against Ghana in Watford, England.
According to Fanatik, the transfer amount will make €10 million.
In Nigeria the 24-year-old Emenike has been playing for Delta Force, after which he moved to South Africa’s Black Aces and later to Cape Town. In 2009, he joined Turkey’s Karabukspor, where he scored 30 goals in 51 matches. In 2010, Emenike won the Best Foreign Player Award of the Super Lig, and next season scored another 14 goals for Karabukspor. In May 2011, he was signed by Fenerbahce.
