Vasily Berezutski: Why would I go to Germany, where defensmen earn half of our salary here?

CSKA defender Vasily Berezutsky has stated that he isn’t considering the option of playing abroad.

«Today I have a five-year contract with CSKA. In five years I will be thirty-three. Would I like to play abroad? Why should I? To go to, say, Germany, where defencemen earn half of our salary here?» said Berezutsky in an interview with PRO Sport magazine.
