Andrey Arshavin: I’ll do what I can to lead Zenit to the league title

Arsenal midfielder Andrey Arshavin, currently on loan at Zenit St. Petersburg, commented on his return to Russia.

«Friday was a difficult day: everything was decided at the last minute. I guess my transfers cannot be resolved quicker,» the Russia international admitted.

«I want to play and I want to make Zenit champions this year. I will do everything in my power to lead the team to the title,» he told Sport-Express.

Arshavin has been loaned to the Russian Premier League title holders until the end of the season, after which he will return to London.
