Insidefutbol: Galatasaray will offer €16m for Arshavin

Turkish powerhouse Galatasaray are thought to be ready to make an offer worth €16 million for Arsenal midfielder Andrei Arshavin, according to Insidefutbol. Arshavin’s agent is expected to begin negotiations with Galatasaray representatives in the nearest future.

However, according to The Times, the Londoners won’t let the Russian go now. Arsenal intend to keep Arshavin in their squad as two of their key midfielders, Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri, may leave the club during the summer transfer window.

It should be noted that Arshavin’s contract with Arsenal expires in June 2012.
