I read an article earlier that when they acquired Mitchell Robinson they used the non-taxpayer mid-level exception. In that same article they said that hard caps them at the first apron. They were within $5.9m of that first apron cap and $2.9m over the luxury tax. When I heard the Brown trade, the first thing I did was I went to Hoopshype and compared their salaries for next year: you guessed it, the difference was just over $2.9m.
